If she has the divorce papers, she started them long before the affair was even started. Clarissa has no reason to be mad about this situation. It just confirms she did the right thing.
Maybe it’s because of the sheer number of couples who want to divorce in the island that the lawyers don’t have much time to do all of the other legal BS. I’m not really sure how exactly divorce works though. We don’t even have that in my country.

Why did you refer to Clarissa as a black bitch? Why would she want custody of an 18 year old adult in Gavin? Clarissa and Wade had no biological children of their own, Chase and Gavin are both adults, and the impact of this affair was mainly a plot point for Gavin and Shane to end up living together. Who knows how long that Clarissa and Wade was really married for anyway.
