It’s really not broken down by region. Just like the NCAA basketball tournament, the regions are just a formality to make each bracket distinguishable from the others. They always have teams from the west coast playing in the east bracket, midwest teams playing in the south, etc. In fact, the NCAA tournament defines their regions based off of where the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 games are played, not the teams that play in those brackets. She was going to be in the East, but I considered the two conferences to be unbalanced with the East being too loaded. I figured Michigan is close enough to the west and moved her over.
