Part of me feels like this could just be a tactic to make it sound like Karl is Cypher when he’s not. Just to make us doubt who Cypher could be. The person Karl could be referring to is possibly some girl we’ve never met before, and he could do exactly as he says with Luke’s phone and not go snooping through his photos because friends don’t go looking at other friends private photos on their phones. I wonder if Karl will notice that Lara’s pictures, Luke asked to edit were not actually sent to Lukes phone, but taken on it…? I’m hoping Karl isn’t Cypher and it’s the guy next door. Would be funny if the blonde Karl was talking about was Cyrus from Untrusting Fiance?

my guess is that Karl has (remote) access to Luke’s computer so he can go in and unblock Cypher. Now he might clone Luke’s phone too…
