Fractured Stories: Shopping Around will be concluding soon, so it’s time to introduce the next Beyond comic! Substitute Perspectives is finally back with its volume 4! This comic is not only a continuation of Chris’s journey into Christen from Substitute Perspectives, but it will crossover with Isabelle’s journey into Isiah from Too Good To Interrupt. This crossover Beyond comic is coming out on June 10th!
“Chris and Isabelle return in- well, I suppose I should say Christen and Isiah in the Beyond Universe. Anyway, no matter what gender these two are, they seem to be bound for each other no matter what the timeline is. On the fateful December day where Chris was hanging out at the mall, he runs into Isabelle. Only this time around, both of their roles and genders have been swapped. Not to mention all the other things that are different this time, such as Chris/Christen being single.”
When this is coming
When this is coming??? Yaar ✊?✊?
Volume 4 started to release on June 10th.
This seems to take some elements from Ashes to Ashes, but is its own story.
Is this the main difference in the Beyond universe, or is this a Elseworlds story of the main Beyond universe?
Also, where’s Christina?
Christina is not here as this is a different non-canon story showcasing how things would be if Chris’s curse did not have any soul side effect. That side effect is what made Christina her own character since it gave her a soul and personality separate from Chris. This made Different Perspectives different from other stories.
Is this apart of the Beyond Universe, or an Elseworlds of an Elseworlds?
For those who haven’t read the Beyond comics, yes, that girl is Chris. Though, she calls herself “Christen” this time. Difference with Different Perspectives is that Christen is NOT a separate soul from Chris, unlike Christina. This is Chris embracing her female self. Same with Isabelle embracing her male self, called “Isaiah”.
That being said, I’m so excited for this one! Hope it will be really good!
Do they stay this way, and is the Fox in their lives?
No final decision yet, but they certainly prefer staying that way.
And yes, the Fox has not been part of Isabelle’s life so far. Remember when the Fox interrupted male Isabelle punishing Jennifer during Too Good To Put Down? Well, that did not happen in the Beyond comic, hence: Too Good To Interrupt.
Hmmm this look familiar where have I seen this before……. GASP OMG!!!??
