Yes, as if you would have had any restraint either, Carlos.

Isn’t anybody in this world noticing two women identically dressed in close proximity? I’d think anyone in eyesight would spot that and comment on it. After all, most women are aghast at the thought of being seen in the same apparel as any other women they come across, so in the real world I’d expect some people to be attentive to this oddity playing out here… 🙂

I noticed it right off too. But I think I may be getting repetitive with editing questions

To be clear, I wasn’t being critical of any of us readers/commenters (e.g. for purportedly not noticing or commenting on the said oddity). Rather, I can’t understand why Carmen’s date, or the waitress, or Mei, or Dean, or anyone else in the comic world here, wouldn’t have already spotted the two identically-dressed women and said something by now. Especially since they’re both fully in red, the color most often used by advertisers to get your attention (e.g. all the red neon restaurant signs)… 🙂

The way I look at it, Demaryius is too transfixed on Carmen to notice Mei. Same goes for Mei and Dean – they’re so enamored with each other that the outside world doesn’t exist for them at the moment. Hell, up to this point, Dean hasn’t even noticed that Carmen is in the restaurant. Because he only has eyes for Mei right now. The waitress might have noticed, but she probably recognizes that it’s really not her place to say something about that. She probably chalks it up to a coincidence.

Another thought may be they are both bridesmaids part of the same wedding party. Just another spin.

Red also means stop. Figure out what’s going on, then proceed if okay. But I get it from what Paul was thinking. But we haven’t thought about Carmen’s thinking as a woman. It’s stated as okay while Carmen is thinking like Carlos and as stated Carlos was fascinated by it prior to the transition and thinking like a guy “. . . whatever, they’re clothes”. If she was thinking like a woman, she too would be aghast and do something to look different or run back to her apartment as quickly as possible to get different clothes on.

I really like Demaryius. I really hope that Carlos/ Carmen will see how genuine and sweet he is. He’s a Dying Breed chivalry is dead in a lot of cases. I just don’t want him to be used as a stepping stone just for Carlos to continue what he’s been doing. Guy deserves better than that. Please rain all through the night and day.

Take notes, Carmen. Demaryius is about to show you the proper way to treat a lady in a date.
