well i was right karl did figure out luke’s big secret . but it took him a little longer to figure out what 2+2 means when it comes to finding out luke’s big secret . so luke go out there and make karl’s day . will karl blab luke’s big secret to ana , jackie , and darren or will luke beg karl to keep his big secret private ? because he might shock his other friends and he might loose them if karl blabs the secret .

Even if I get in trouble, but I’m leaning more and more towards Karl being Cypher here. And Luke
s naivety makes it pretty easy for him, too. Hope Luke doesnt end up as some kind of blonde dummy before the truth comes out. Karl knows computers and it’s easy for him to lay false tracks here to distract from himself.actualy karl got ruled out as cypher a few pages back and karl was with luke when luke got that text from cypher .

Definitely. I mean, said computer genius also was the one who decided that he’d come over to deal with the hacker problem in the morning (something readers and Luke didn’t question because Luke needed time for the Silli gel to wear off), despite being a short walk away, giving himself the whole night to have possibly set up said delayed texts, but I’m sure that’s just a coincidence.
Edit: It’s also totally a coincidence that Cypher started texting Luke the day after Lara brought what was clearly Luke’s phone with her to Karl’s when returning the hard drive (a request he made immediately after Cypher was blocked by Lara).
Also a coincidence that Cypher started showing up the stream immediately after Luke thought Karl might have seen that his streaming profile had been changed from LukeNukeEm to MsLovelyLara (we know he definitely saw the donations while Luke was washing off Lara’s makeup).

Karl has also been the most honest character in this entire story. He has yet to give us a reason to doubt anything he says or that he has been laying false tracks. So until proven otherwise, the only option is to take everything Karl says as fact, including that Stephen is Cypher. Innocent until proven guilty is the name of the game here. All this evidence that Karl is Cypher despite us being told that it’s actually Stephen is circumstantial evidence and speculation, no hard evidence that he’s guilty of being Cypher. Karl is the most honest? Let’s go over his evidence for Cypher’s identity. He managed to decrypt Cypher’s code and retrieve an IP address and an email address. We can ignore the IP address since he apparently did nothing with it. The email address uncovered just happens to include Stephen’s last name. A bit odd that a hacker with Cypher’s proficiencies wouldn’t use a burner email or at least an email without his name attached for his illicit hacking purposes, but it was encrypted so it’s not totally implausible. Yes, Karl has been the most honest because he tells Luke exactly how he feels about him. He doesn’t try to hide anything from Luke. If he believes Luke should be himself or that Luke is attractive when he puts on makeup or feminine clothes, then he tells Luke the truth. That makes him more honest than anyone else in this story. The only reason he decrypted Cypher’s IP address and email was because Luke asked him to do it. To be fair, the only evidence for Stephen is what was provided by Karl. And Karl could be lying. Not saying he is, but I think more proof is needed before we definitively say Stephen is Cypher.
Why is more proof needed? Karl hasn’t given us any reason to doubt anything he says. He’s been honest with Luke for the entirety of the comic, so why should we not believe him about Stephen being Cypher? Especially when all the evidence has pointed to Stephen being Cypher for a while now.

Why jump to the conclusion that Karl could be lying? He hasn’t given us a reason to not believe what he’s saying. Yes, people lie, but that’s no justification to not believe what someone is saying, especially someone as honest as Karl. There’s been no indication that Karl has any malicious or evil intent at any point in this story, thus there’s no reason for him to lie.
