That’s also how it was with Carlos/Carmen at the start. And yet, we’re rooting for her now because of how much she has developed as a character throughout the story.
Given enough time (hopefully), Daphne learns her lesson like how Carmen did. I suppose if that happens, she would be more attractive and less like how she used to be.
