I hate to agree, but i do. I expected more out of the first pure crossdressing story. Idk, maybe i expected too much. But Luke has some really thick plot armor and hes a bit too dumb for my liking. I just wish he’d realize he likes being Lara waaaay too much for this to be a coincidence. He clearly likes guys, might be bisexual or gay, and hes a simp. Yes, I liked the idea of a cross dressing story but the plot is poorly developed, the characters lack nuance and I can’t care for any of them, there are endless filler panels with repetitive and predictable dialogue/thought balloons. I agree the Cypher angle is interesting but inconsistent. I guess I’ll start again with SR and re-read the old comics for the third time until this one is over.
I’ve been thinking about re reading SR recently. That story is peak SF storytelling, that, and Stealing from Sis and Ashes to Ashes.
The car looks the same, just backwards and Ana is in the passenger seat.
It’s hard enough to draw *one* car. Drawing two different cars for the same scene to play out in is a lot. lol
A man, pretending to be a woman, pretending to be another woman….almost sounds like Julie Andrews’ character in Victor/Victoria to me.
Or even perhaps the actress Hayley Mills when she was in Parent Trap II, playing characters Susan AND Sharon, then I believe it was Sharon who disguised herself as another woman and went out to dinner at the same restaurant where Susan was pretending to be Sharon.. or Vice versa.
And of course the classic zipper in cartoons…

Damn Luke seems to have taken a bit of offense to Ana claiming Jorge called her first.
It is completely ridiculous that he is offended by that.
It’s obvious that Luke isn’t for Ana. Just move on to being a woman (that’s what Luke is at this point) and date men, cuz because its becoming more obvious that he lust after dick, but only feels comfortable doing it as a woman, compared to being there for Ana, and shooting his shot.
Why wait till tomorrow if you can meet right now? You’ll need some comforting right this minute Ana. You’ve been through a lot this evening…
