After over a decade, Awakening has finally come to a close. Pros: -Pacing was very good. -No serious animation errors. -The secret plan set up by Isabelle and Chris on how to mass-cure cursed non-blood serves as subtle enough foreshadowing for a potential follow-up series. Cons: -This ends the series on too clean of a note. By that, I’m referring to the status quo not being shaken up enough. We don’t get any mentions possibly needing to reveal the sorcerer world to non-bloods, nor any news of non-bloods finding out about their world and such during the chaos from earlier… Read more »
Speaking of when Scarlet mention her assistant Hai
She has similarities like Nezbitt (Yu-Gi-Oh) for being force into a different position that dislike the most
Noah: You’re a fool, Hai. You know you’re not a good employee. Actually it’s quite sad. Deep down, you’re nothing but a immature little girl.
I thought Chris would propose
Did is see a little LOTR in one of the pictures.
Where? I’m curious now
I guess thats one chaper of the story over. Onwards to new beginnings, where anything can happen.
Another potential would be the return of Sylvana. Like it’s magic basically anything is possible lol
Or the corruption of Alastair. That’s also a possibility
That’s not happening, she’s dead.
Some rules of magic in the SF universe are clearly defined. One of the biggest is that magic can’t bring the dead back to life. If that rule could have been broken, Sylvana wouldn’t have turned evil, since she could have brought her daughter back to life.
Sorry I admittedly don’t know all the deep lore lol. Thanks for clearing that up
That, and Issabelle’s mum/mom (depending on how you spell it). Sylvana used her blood to fully restore her humanity from her cat statue form. If magic could revive the dead it makes her loss feel empty.
More like Sylvana’s followers planning to take over the world after their leader’s death or maybe another villain’s return like Russell
Russell: Turning me into a female version of myself is doesn’t matter to me. All I want is to be in sorcerer’s body.
This antagonist’s weakness is full obsession
No. The story has done. A great story. Yes. But it has been running way too long. It’s good that it’s done.
Finally over!
ANNNDDDD That’s a WRAP! Beautiful ending to a series that has gone on for over a decade now. Congrats to everyone involved in the making of this series. It’s been ambitious, grand and well earned. I love how things here tie into The Night is Young which is also having its series culminate in the new year. To all those who have helped create Awakening, thank you from all the fans for all your hard work throughout the SF community!
The perfect conclusion to my favorite and the longest running series! Alistair will love his new home!
