So basically Cinder Isle in Space? Or is this like Firefly with a gender bender alien species set on world domination?

One, based off of what we know, I don’t think it’s fair to say that this is like Cinder Isle. The virus in CI was contagious, but we have no proof yet that those attacked by this alien have the ability to transform others. For all we know, only this alien can transform others. That honestly make this alien more akin to a xenomorph or the alien from John Carpenter’s The Thing, except it transforms its prey into women instead of killing them. Two, I do not get the impression that this alien species wants world domination, or even universal… Read more »

Again another oppertunity to break the norm and do FTM content wasted. Very disappointing. ‘The home of MtF animation and comics’ more like.

The core demographic of this website appears to be heterosexual males with a gender transformation fetish. That audience only comes to watch men get turned into sexy women, and wouldn’t care to see a women get turned into a man, because that’s not sexy to them. It’s why every time there is a FTM transformation on this site, it has always been paired with a MTF transformation – to have something there for the core audience to enjoy. That norm has been broken several times already with stories like Halloween Switch, Second Honeymoon and Wedding Bells. Plus, by the time… Read more »

Your point about the length doesn’t matter. the story of this animation could have easily been restructured for both transformations to happen at the same time.
Also you said in a previous comment that you don’t think its like the Cinder Ilse virus.

The length of the videos is absolutely important when every single SF animation is on a ten-minute timer. They have to get as much done as they can in ten minutes or less. And when you have a one-shot like this that has to set up the Crossfire universe and still show a MTF transformation, that doesn’t leave much time for anything else, especially another transformation. And no, I don’t think it could have been restructured to include two transformations. Then we would have missed out on the ending of Vanessa, her father and two police officers getting attacked by… Read more »

You misunderstood what I meant about the length not being important, what I meant was that it wasn’t important for whether or not there were two transformation because they could happen at the same time. Just because Vanesa went to get help doesn’t mean that someone wouldn’t have come to look for them. It would have still been just as creepy with just the cops and Vanesa’s dad. That is not necessarily true, there have been several parallel transformations on this site that wouldn’t have been shorter if they were just one transformation. I apologize for misunderstanding what you meant… Read more »

Even if both Vanessa and Marco’s transformation happened at the same time, that would still add time to the animation. If it takes roughly four minutes to show one transformation, then two transformations at the same time would take at least six minutes to show. And that is too long when the animation is already over 11 minutes. Yes, no one would have looked for Marco and Vanessa if she didn’t go get help. Because no one else knew that they were at that particular location except the two of them. Vanessa’s dad wouldn’t have gone to that place if… Read more »

the vast majority of the audience wants MTF transformations, so that’s what we continue to get.

That alien reminds me of symbiotes (Spider Man), and the Thing (shape shifting horror creature)

Will, this definitely beats out Widow’s Web for being the creepiest One Shot so far.

Well, its because Widow’s Web didn’t have a slime monster slime-raped people into bimbos.

How are people confused to who’s who? The person, except eye color, looks the same.

Marco and female Marco don’t really look the same at all. Their hair is completely different, their clothes don’t look the same, Marco wasn’t wearing makeup, and of course Marco didn’t have huge breasts. Aside from their hair color and skin color, the two look nothing alike. If I hadn’t seen Marco transform into female Marco, I would have said that those two are completely different people.

Well, they look the same to me, minus the feminized clothes. The hair is just longer, wearing make-up doesn’t make you look like a completely different unless you put effort into it, even then, and eye color change isn’t all that hard.

So you’re just going to also ignore the fact that female Marco’s arms are not nearly as muscular as Marco’s, or that her thighs are significantly bigger? Or… you know, she has boobs and Marco doesn’t? The eye thing doesn’t matter, because female Marco only opened her eyes after everyone else was attacked.

I just fail to see how anyone could think that Marco and female Marco are the same person if they didn’t see him transform into her. One is a man, the other is a busty woman. Simply by appearance, those are two fundamentally different people.

Idk, seems like laziness to me.

This reminds me of people treating a post-transition trans person as a completely, new, person. lol

So dumb.

People treating post-transition transgender people as different people has nothing to do with this. Marco was not transgender. He never once mentioned anything about how he wished he was a woman. He was extremely comfortable in his own skin and clearly wanted to be Vanessa’s boyfriend. He even talked about planting roots on Odyssey, which implies getting married to someone like Vanessa and starting a family. He was a regular heterosexual man who got transformed into a woman against his will by forces out of his control. So when a non-transgender male gets turned a woman, and no one sees… Read more »

I wonder if they suffered identity death, and a reduction in intelligence(bimbo/himbofication) like in most identity death stories?

Tbh, if I was raped by that thing, I rather lose all of my former memories, cuz wtf?!

I’d say that’s unlikely because that would mean every Character that gets Genderbent in the Comic would eventually get killed off.

How so? They’ll stil be alive in a way, just with the personality completely changed, some or all memories gone and or altered, and have a slight reduction in intelligence. How does that mean they’ll die if that’s the case?

Identity death stories are SUCH a turn-on for me, so a bimbofication animation and subsequent comic series would be really exciting. I know if I had been in that forest and had been caught up in the goo monster, I’d probably welcome the physical and mental changes!

Sam himself is a Canadian citizen which he confirmed previously and this may be the reason why Canada is mentioned here. As Mass Effect was one of the inspirations for Crossfire, I should mention that both actors who voiced the male and female Commander Shepard (Mark Meer and Jennifer Hale are both Canadian as well.

Speaking of Jennifer Hale as Samus Aran (Metroid Prime 1-3), the alien is almost reminds me of the Ing (Echoes) due to shape shifting liquid to possess on hosts and maybe later on, they reveal the sci-fi monstrosity.

Damn, this is one fine prequel. It answers the question of the method used for the transformations, but raises even more questions about the story behind it.

If you notice at the end, female Marco’s eye color is different from when the transformation is taking place. That’s definitely gotta be an important detail.

The plot thickens, and so are the character transformations.
