The story kind of veers off into left field. It was originally about punishing abusers and ends with… well no real ending. Did she stop more abusers? What happened to the ones who were transformed? Did they change for the better? Did they find a mage of their own? Nope, we are just going to end a 26 episode series with beyond content.
One thing for certain
From Awakening 25, Scarlet said that Hai working with her as assistant. Since Night Is Young take place before Awakening
This nasty lady is unintelligent for thinking, “There’s no way, Jessica could have change everyone’s memory. Is there?”
I say, “Take a hint for once. That’s you get for being too comfortable with sleazy things.”
If Hai attempt to sabotage like poison the drink or something, Jessica punish her by making Hai as office airhead.
Those first 18 episodes really are a banger! The series does an okay job transitioning to its second plot-line, but it would’ve been nice to see one more scene at Washington University to have the series go full-circle.
“Her Size Fits All”.
That sounds promising.
Pink Knight talk to DSC Agent –
Jessica: I want you to remember that. I wanted to remind you to stay out of my way. In all the times to come, in your most private moments, I want you to remember the one sorcerer who beat you!
It’s pretty fun to see Jessica and Alistair’s relationship blossom throughout the series. This is pretty much their “Matchmaker”, even if it took until Awakening that they become a couple officially.
That said, Jessica’s stunt as the Pink Knight did feel a bit too smooth-sailing. I wish there were more challenges for her along the way, as well as seeing how the girls she transformed are faring.
Still, Jessica getting the spotlight in a series is a great choice, especially how she has “grown”, in more ways than one.
Jessica Young vs Mark Grayson (Invincible) in Death Battle! –
Mark: I’m sure you and Samantha (Atom Eve) get along nicely because those powers of yours
Jessica: Thanks for the compliment but flattery won’t let you go anywhere
Omni Man: Think Jessica think!
I don’t need a psychoanalyst degree to figure it out on Hai and harassers
Obviously Hai live in high privilege life back then without facing proper punishment until Jessica had enough. This is why most people hate spoiled brats.
The Dean panicking like a scared child while 3 colleagues see through her as the boss’ incompetence is expose. I wouldn’t be surprise if these 4 throw each other under the bus in Saw like game to save their own skin with no loyalty.
They’re irresponsible cowards deep down & no one has the right to act “untouchable”
