Alana’s curse is the most elaborate curse I’ve seen yet. What I find most interesting is that she places greater emphasis on the curse’s purpose as a punishment, refines it to maximise discomfort by having him shift back and forth between his true and cursed form through the cycle of the sun. She even offers a path of atonement that reflects the original transgression, sleeping with one man, as Carmen, for each woman Carlos has wronged.
