We’ll learn more from Alana soon, but she cannot permanently change Carmen into a woman. Not while Carmen has the curse. Alana can manually transform Carmen into a woman every day, but the curse will always override any changes. For example, she can change Carlos into Carmen at sunrise one morning, but the curse would change Carmen back into Carlos the next morning. Carlos could only become Carmen permanently after Carmen has removed the curse, ie. after she’s had sex with nine different guys.
