One of the biggest forms of karma I have seen thus far. Getting your soul ripped out by somebody you killed years ago. Russell considered himself a god within the game since he created it but this made him gravely underestimate the non bloods that would help the sorcerers. I think I have seen this a couple times with antagonists from the yu-gi-oh and naruto anime.

Yeah and Naruto himself was able to prove many people how wrong they were. Naruto tends to do this by either beating them in battle or achieving something they deem impossible. Naruto was considered a failure and a loser by many but he still continued to prove himself.
In the last page Russell got shot in the crotch by Hikaru but he instantly recovered and shot Yuzuki. However after Nikki slashed off Russell’s arm in the same page, he didn’t instantly recover and shoot Nikki for some reason which allowed Nikki to grab the other arm.
