I guess this takes place before The King’s Heirs? Pros: Ricco Fajardo’s performance as Prince Aldrich is the HIGHLIGHT of this one-shot! I can’t Alistair’s voice at all from him in this. This is a great showing of his range! The fancy-style music used in this is REALLY cheesy in a way that fits this one-shot’s atmosphere. Cons: The ending of Gwendolyn (now in Prince Aldrich’s body) getting down and dirty with Aurora didn’t feel all that necessary, and it could’ve ended with just Gwendolyn (now in Prince Aldrich’s body) talking down to Prince Aldrich (now in Gwendolyn’s body). Personally I really like the ending with Aurora.
I have trouble putting myself into the shoes of either Gwendolyn or Prince Aldrich at the end of the story. Prince Aldritch is too much of a dick for me to want to imagine myself as that character, and Gwendolyn seems very happy about being in a man’s body (can’t relate).
But Aurora? Hell yeah, I wanna be Aurora! Magically resizing my boobs to seduce a king sounds awesome.
This is probably my favorite one-off animation ever, very well done all around

While Gwendolyn got her wish to become royalty, I think Aurora might have secured herself true power over the kingdom, with the new king as her puppet. Ooh, makes me wonder…
There’s a lady who’s sure all that glitters is gold, and she’s buying a stairway to heaven.
And a commoner woman will understand how to be a woman in a sexist Medieval society and hopefully become a better person without all of that power.
