I was thinking it was odd that he clearly understood English but kept speaking Spanish(I think) to his bosses.
Then I slapped myself because I do the same thing with my co-workers all the time. Only Japanese instead of Spanish. I’ve had entire lengthy conversations where I was speaking English and they were speaking Japanese. 2 bilingual people with the same languages can be odd.
It’s also possible that the witches were using magic to translate without him realizing it. They were speaking Spanish back to him as far as he was concerned.

I really was hoping Lorraine would show up and give Elsa a heart attack from hell, and really go after Elsa.
