When did Construct Kyle get his own phone, and why is Alistair not asking “wait, what curse? you cursed non-bloods?” Does a construct just happen to have a valid number with a cell provider because magic? Kind of surprised here. Sorry to be the one to reality check; that’s not the intent. It just seems to be a pretty big gap in the immersion your writing usually handles.
A) Who in this day in age DOESN’T have a cell phone? Even fake people have them!
