Ah man, why did Karl have to share the master plan in Luke’s room where that action figure or whatever it was is that Stephen gave Luke is on display, which undoubtedly is a spy camera and/or listening device?! Something tells me Stephen is gonna be ready to either hide the photos or frame Karl somehow.
Okay I am not team karl is Cypher but I did just realise that when he had to edit those 1st photos of Lara he might have recognised the difference between a tuck job and an actual pussy. But that does not mean he is Cypher it could just explain why he didn’t question the odd requests, because he realised why Luke did it.

yes karl did say that he knows those pictures will be in there . but how do you know that karl is the one that planted them there in the first place . it could be someone else that might a grudge against luke you may never know.

It doesn’t make sense for Karl to be Cypher for many reasons. One, we have no reason to believe that Karl has been lying at any point in this story. He has been genuine and honest from the start. Which means when he says that Stephen is Cypher, that’s the truth. Two, if Karl is Cypher, that would not only mean the story is turning one of its most likable characters into its villain (a genuinely unwise action from a narrative perspective), but it would significantly extend the Cypher/blackmail storyline when Karl is found out, if not making that the… Read more »
Well, first, Cypher and Karl seem to share the same “kinks” (Karl’s words) w.r.t. Luke/Lara. As for genuine/honest…that’s our observation but we don’t have insight into his thoughts like we do with Luke. Finally, Karl’s tech abilities plus his conveniently nearby location make it easy for him to pull off many of the things that have already happened and what I think will soon happen. Karl’s kinks and computer skills lining up with what we know about Cypher could just as easily be a coincidence. Just because both are good with computers and like chicks with dicks does not mean that they’re the same person. And just because we don’t have insight into Karl’s thoughts doesn’t automatically mean that he’s lying. Why assume that he’s lying? Why assume anything at all when it’s bad to assume? You’re right..it doesn’t necessarily mean all those things. But that’s a whole lot of coincidences…how many guys who like “chicks with dicks” who are good with computers would be likely to be within such proximity of Luke? I mean..sure..it’s <possible> there could be 2. Heck, maybe the whole floor is full of them. But I think it’s more likely that Karl = Cypher. I guess we’ll find out soon 😉
So, is Karl really throwing parties at his cramped dorm room? If he is, then no wonder Stephen hates his guts enough to make noise complaints. With Karl’s loud-ass speakers, he might as well join Karl’s damn parties and make him look like a loser.

loved the comment jd. i was thinking the same thing . and how will karl and luke would excuse themselves to snoop around stevens room without seeing suspicious ? also what would they do if they find the concrete evidence they have been looking for?

well we just found out how luke and karl planed to get the concrete evidence on stephen . by having karl throw a party . and while the party is going on they check out stephen’s room . hope they don’t get caught .
If they can break in, what’s to say Karl didn’t break in and plant evidence…
well if karl did break in to stephen’s room to plant the evidence. then why did he tell luke about stephen having all this evidence . in todays world we have finger print tech. that can scan for fingerprints so we can tell if karl is really telling the truth or is he lying to save himself .
