I know I’m prone to overthinking things here but how exactly does a “ghost vagina” work? Apparently, it’s $2000+ and according to Alyssa in one of the videos, it only lasts 30 days. That’s not really the issue though. First, how would you even put one on? Even if your man stuff was on the small side where would it all go? It’s easily the most hand-wavy piece of tech in the SF-verse. But to be fair, how the hell does Sili-Gel even work?!
My personal guess is that sorcerers are making bank on the side by introducing subtle magic into physical products that they make available to the *much more numerous* muggles in the world.
That may be the case but if we do recall, this story is supposed to be based 100% non-magic, so having magically imbued items in such a story would go against its own basis.
Tbh, we should of just had hrt and surgeries in this story instead for true, 100% non magic story.
True, though that would significantly alter the story. Luke would have to come out much sooner and not just as Bi. Then there would have to be time skips because let’s face it. HRT etc doesn’t work overnight so other shortcuts would be needed in addition to the time skips. I love the voice changer tech but that would have to go too!
I agree. Sili-gel isn’t magical if I had to fathom a guess it works by stimulating breast tissue, therefore, increasing its size for a limited time. After about a day the stimulation stops and the body slowly absorbs and eliminates the excess. If a male were to use sili-gel I would guess he’d just get firmer A cup (at best) breasts for a short time. The bigger problem with sili-gel though is how does it know what to do? Sili-gelin the beginning was just a way to temporarily increase bust size in female characters. In that sense, sili-gel can be explained in some kind of pseudo-science way. Giving male characters full-on C+ cups and have them go away the next day would be the real leap.
