If she didn’t give a shoutout to someone who donated $250 to her, then it would come across as Lara being ungrateful to her fans. Her subscribers don’t know that Cypher is blackmailing, they think he’s just another fan. So if a fan donated that much money and didn’t get even a single mention, why should other fans donate money?
Oh yeah, I forgot that whenever someone donates, usually there’s a notification on the stream itself for everyone to see, especially for a donation that big. So, it’s all an act? Got it.

Well we don’t know what Stephen’s job is. He might not even have a job, which would make it even less likely that he’s Cypher. At least we know Karl has a job as a DJ, so he at least has disposable cash, while Stephen may not.
