If Karl is cypher them he could of texted Ana the pictures or said something to her while pretending to be luke to screw everything up for him.

Will send him over the edge. Either into rage or into a deep confusing state of frustration and sorrow. Could happen. Who knows.
Karl isn’t Cypher, just like with Thad, this was proven early on. Plus, there’s no motivation. Why would Karl do this to his best friend?

Incorrect. The comic started on September 12, 2020, and the current day in-comic is October 14, 2020. Luke also turned into Lara on the first day that the comic started. So Lara has only existed for 32 days in-comic. Not that any of those numbers matter.
