If it were only that easy. No hormones, no laser or electrolysis. If I could only use some super power to finish my transition….. Oh well…

Am I wrong to want the snarky, negative, and judgmental Xavier back? Or at least a few uncouth zingers to go with all of the positivity.

I wonder how long Melody has been hanging out with Karen. Surely, it must be suspicious that she and her husband are never together in the same room?

While we can’t say for sure at the moment, it is possible that Karen and Claude could be in the same room at the same time through magic. The best known example of that are constructs. Karen could have made a Claude construct to look and act exactly like he would, or vice versa. If Claude can make good enough constructs, they can certainly fool Melody into thinking that they’re the real deal.

I can’t remember a character more annoying than Ashley’s mom. Might end up skipping the next episode just to avoid having to deal with her.

??? I’m not sure that I follow you. I thought that Melody acted like a pretty positive, supportive mother. In a way, she kinda reminds me of my own mother. How is she annoying, to the point that you’re considering giving up on this series?

Since you ask, her lines felt waaaaaaaaay too scripted, not like how people actually talk as I’ve seen in pretty much every single one of the animations on this site. Just one person’s opinion, though, really, and the rest of the episode was very enjoyable.

Spoiler alert.
Just like Jamie, Ashley’s father is the parent that’s cursed.
Looks like Claude’s had too many Jawbreakers.
Did anyone notice that Ashley’s dream in the third episode with her talking to her mother as Ashley seem a little clairvoyant or is it just me?

It will probably go similar to what happened in foxtrot and different perspectives in the next episode. This is especially due to Claude liking being a girl and he will speak up to his family that he likes being a girl like Ashley.

makes me think of shifting roommates and different perspective when the fathers turn themselves into women (magical or not) and somehow their sons turn into one as well (permanment or not)

Interesting plot twist and It seems that Isabelle acts like Sylvanna sometimes.

I would have liked Mom being the one with the curse…

That seemed pretty short. Now we’re going to have to wait for the next episode.

Still makes you wonder how it got into a sorcerer bloodline, I thought that the curse was build with a failsafe to prevent that from happening?

According to Alistair, Sylvana’s gender curse is such a low frequency spell that no sorcerer could actually find it unless they were specifically looking for that curse. It’s why he and Isabelle are the only ones doing what they do – because they’re the only two sorcerers who know how to look for the gender curse. As far as we know, there is no fail safe to prevent the curse from spreading to sorcerers. As for how it got into Ash’s bloodline, the most likely cause is that one of Claude’s parents is a non-blood who had the gender curse,… Read more »
