a person who can pull off either genders has a future in acting.
Logic: do what the “King’s Men” Troupe did have have the actors play multiple characters that never appear on stage at the same time. And if the actor can pass for man or woman depending on make-up and clothing, that expands the number of characters they can play during the entire show.
Alyssa can pull this off despite the whole miss understanding about her panties being in the hands of her stunt double wow what a way to a rocky performance review from Alyssa now that her stunt double #1 is in the hospital let’s just hope for the sake of Issac & Alyssa’s daughter she can pull this off for the next few months or that ship would be sailed for nothing! Though stunt double #2 has the potential to play her if “he or I mean She” can play her cards just right! During the Dressing & make up scene… Read more »
I’m not sure why Alyssa feels she needs this so badly? She got like $50 Million (if I remember right) and a high paying represenative job for Sili-gel. She could self fund this movie…
The whole reason Austin became Alyssa in the first place was to show off his acting abilities. And what better place to show that she’s one of the best actors than Hollywood?
For Alyssa, it’s not about the money. It’s about the craft of acting. As a writer, I can respect that. When you do anything creative for a living, you don’t do it because you know you’ll make money off it. You do it because you love doing it and sharing your talents with the world.
It will be explained more in future episodes.
Ok, fair enough. I wasn’t really looking at it from that angle. The desperation in her voice just made it sound like the walls were coming down rather than passion to me. Otherwise, it’s a good start!
One thing I can say about Jordan is this oh boy I feel sorry for this guy I really do
Loved the first part, a great setup for a new series. But did she really need to pull the “I know a friend” line? I mean, anyone who knows Alyssa Foster should know that she started out as a he and did all that for a role. So her suggesting someone else do it shouldn’t be that hard to believe.
It’s like working with Hugh Jackman on a movie and being surprised when he suggests someone else can sing as well.
From what I recall after writing the last several episodes of the original Getting Into Character, Alyssa formerly being a man is not public knowledge. Only Alyssa’s close friends, family, doctors and a few higher ups at the company that makes sili-gel know that she used to be Austin.
You forgot her entire school. Though it’s not certain how many know that she took it all the way.
And the long awaited return for Getting Into Character is here!! Definetly the most anticipated series for sure… Alyssa’s new model is STUNNING. I love it. There’s so much established in this one episode. Her Hollywood film career, setting the stage for the accident, Jordan’s arrival, the dynamics between Alyssa and her home life, absent on her daughter’s birthday (who is super cute by the way!) and the new project she’s working on. All the boxes are ticked, the pace flows nicely, as this was particularly jam packed for 10 minutes that did so many things which were all intriguing… Read more »
