Whelp Amy’s evil
The pacing is what drags this one down, with little more than a minute dedicated to resolving last episode’s conflict, whereas the gym scene goes on for over half the length. It also would’ve been nice if Amy showed a pinch more sympathy toward Eric/a. The episode just feels mean-spirited, yet boring at the same time. At least there’s a decent scene connecting the two segments.

Mark is proving himself that he’s a “idiot”

I’ve been a fan of this series since it started and I can agree with everyone… Mark DESERVES a reckoning. I’m kinda sad we didn’t see more drawbacks for him this episode, BUT I just have a feeling someone like him can’t stay on top forever. In terms of Eric(a)’s story, I feel bittersweet. I love seeing her fight against Mark and try to stay positive despite the dire circumstances she’s in. I understand how Amy cares about her finances to support her child, but the fact Eric/a literally says “name your price” to her should be something that turns her head to hear her out at least instead of being rather dismissive towards Eric/a. I thought you cared about finances first and then morals!? That’s interesting, especially considering how desperate Eric/a is to turn back and get the life they once had. I was thinking a lot of this too. I thought this would either be a complete 180 for Mark, or at least a severe scold and warning with some threats to cut his act and that he is taking it too far.
I think it might take a few days for Amy to realise that she’s Mark’s tool and not his magic teacher. When that happens she’ll probably help Erica by taking Mark down
Amy is seeing Mark as a way to get money and not realizing he’s using her.
Very interesting development, that expands the story beyond Mark
