Sam and I have discussed something like this in the past, and more lesbian protagonists would be difficult to pull off. Given how the gender curse in the SF universe works, it not only changes people into their proper gender, but also switches their sexuality. A formerly straight male with the gender curse becomes a straight woman. That’s just how the curse works. (The only exception was Ash/Ashley, but that’s because they were also a sorcerer.) Honestly, with that revelation, the sexuality categories on the wiki look really oudated now cause now several formerly cursed characters labeled bisexual are apparently just straight. If so then damn, I do feel a bit bad we’re losing bi rep in the universe. Jamie just counts as a straight woman now which is a shame cause I loved her being bi rep. That being said, I assume if a character was bi before being transformed by a gender spell, then they’re still bi afterwards? First off, Kelly, Alyssa and Jazmin never had the gender curse. So what I said about removing the gender curse and swapping their sexuality doesn’t apply to them. It only applies to people like Gaela, Mariah, Hannah, Michael, Dawn, Nikki, etc. Second, I never got the impression that Jazmin was bisexual after she embraced being a woman. Yes, she made out with Lexus, but she admitted that she didn’t feel turned on at all. She was only doing it as an act to get more money from the guys watching her and Lexus dance.
