This may be wishful thinking, but I feel we’re heading toward Carmen turning the tables on Dean to teach him a lesson somehow. Just the way she says, “it’s not as bad as you think,” and, “I can handle him.”

I think Gabby def needs to dig in on this, grab Alana talk to Aaron and confront Dean before Carmen gets used and abused….
I think a fitting punishment for Dean would much better off permanently as Deanna!
I hope not. It would further this idea that being turned into a woman is always the punishment of choice in this world. I think a better comeuppance for the character would be the complete shattering of his ego when confronted. I hope the story doesn’t go in that ‘Deanna’ direction, because it would be disappointing.
I didn’t think Carmen was so gullible.
Carmen’s characterization lacks internal consistency. Like her decisions and level of intelligence fluctuate to serve the plot, which makes her feel reactive to the narrative rather than an active agent within it. TDLR: Yeah, she’s dumb here because story needs her to be to get Dean scene.
