The lighting is not good at a professional filming studio? Heck, I can even see some studio lights in these panels and previous ones.
All the lights are turned off though. They’d have to be turned back on, which might take some time to do. Not to mention, at this point, Carmen and Marcus are the only two left in the studio. Marcus most likely doesn’t know how to operate the lighting equipment. He hired a crew to do that for him.
Plus, Carmen points it right away that Marcus is just coming up with a bullshit excuse to invite her back to his place. And to be fair, Carmen goes along with it anyway, because she wants to go to his place.
