I don’t think they’re going to have to “speedrun” anything. Sam has mentioned that this teaser for Crossfire is just a very early teaser. So they’re still in the very early stages of making Crossfire. Which implies that Favors and Followers is not ending soon. It sounds like we’ve got several more months before this comic is done, so there’s no reason for the creators to rush.
Actually Sam said that we are in the final act of this comic so that means it is ending soon

While I do believe we’re entering the final act of this story, I don’t believe it’ll be ending soon. The final act is referring to the three act structure of most stories. So we’re currently at the start of the final third of the story, probably around 68% of the way through Favors and Followers. Let’s assume that the two previous acts were roughly the same length and that act three has been going for roughly the last 8-10 pages. Hopefully something will really go wrong. Luke or Lara is just playing with these people. Then again fractured ended with the majority of the characters loving their once punishment. Though will this story show the aftermath of their interactions? How Darren is a really lovely guy who thinks that this is a real woman who really cares about him. the other person luke / lara is interested in her name is ana . and i agree with your comment luke thought when he started crossdressing as lara he was thinking about helping his best friend darren with his problems atracting women . then luke found a way to make easy money by using lara as an e girl . then he fell in love with his friend ana and that started when he mistakenly slipped into one of ana’s shoes and he would use lara to get to ana . now that were close to the end of this… Read more »
Most likely. I can’t wait to get to Crossfire. I’m mentally done with this comic. The only drama in this story is some loser named Stephen and that’s it. Who ever wrote this story needs to start learning how to write again from scratch. Smh.
We get it. You hate this comic (as you’ve made clear innumerable times). Being an ass regarding the writer feels unnecessary.
Why? Luke gets away with everything, and his friends are dumb as dumb goes. Am I supposed to be ok with that? That kind of writing is something I would see from The CW.
There is certainly a place for criticism. I know I have found myself having to suspend my disbelief more than I might like. But, maybe if you were constructive, instead of just saying, essentially, “Characters are dumb and the writer sucks” over and over and over your criticisms would have more favorable results.
Crossfire looks interesting, the name gives me the feeling their will be a lot of cheesy 80s sci-fi references
