If it were me in that last panel, as Derrick, that line she used would’ve meant that she’s not into me and LYING to brush me off. Luckily for Derrick, it seems Christina is pretty genuine about her interest, perhaps even a bit too straight-forward, so I rather hope something good happens with these two before it’s over. ^^
She has the excuse that she just moved. If it wasn’t for that I would consider it a lie.
I think Christina is trying to make Derreck fall for her, if she gets a phone it will be official, she will have a way into the world. Time is running out for Christina, and Holly must hurry to save Chris.
