Certainly a way to end the year!
Pros:
-The first scene with Denise didn’t drag on for anywhere close to a long as I feared. I was originally worried the whole episode would be one long sex scene.
-The dialogue between Phillip and Juliet emphasizes the growing hurdles in their relationship well.
-Animation had no real errors to speak of.
Cons:
-Juliet came off as a slight hypocrite here, but Phillip and Denise are in different contexts at this point in the series.
8/10. Simply put this was well-paced, and well done.
Quick theory about the Denise “girlfriend” dilemma. Since Darius and Phillip look similar enough to one another, I can imagine Phillip doing overtime as having to pose as “Denise” for dinner with their mother while Darius is himself.
I liked the IndyPanda easter egg in this episode. I love the world-building of this SF universe. I also wonder if this ends up leading to Phillip’s “Pheobe” being exposed and comes to light the same time that Darius/Denise comes out.
Oh boy one thing’s for certain when Mama finds out the truth someone’s going to die and I have a feeling it won’t be Mama.
Interesting but college isn’t for everyone despite how hard it’s pushed nowadays. She should lay off tbh. Just say they broke up, easy fix unless they get caught again…
Well she’s definitely going to be screwed…
Wow. She is very flexible
I must admit I think this kind of flexibility is anatomically impossible,
especially with those breasts…
But:
Is here anybody who wouldn’t agree that the Foxx tends to exaggerate on certain parts of the human anatomy ? 😉
Note to the college:
While a good education (including college/university) should always be advisable,
the number of people defaulting on their student loans or reaching the retirement age before paying them of, the US higher education system looks like a ripoff to outsiders.
So the decision to go to college must calculate in the chances of paying back the loans needed…
