I hate the “you need a girl’s name now” theme. It’s just stoopid. Drake did NOT ask for this to happen to him. Respect the character.

Drake sounds better

Why is Dayla is still viewed as a guy on this site? Is it because of the penis?

Because Drake did not choose this and he is only partially transformed. I’m betting, in the end , they will find a way to transform him back and HE will happily do it. Taylor seems to be fine with HER transformation and is adapting well to being female.

We’ve had plenty of partial transformations in the past, and each time that’s happened there was still a name change, regardless of whether or not they wanted to transform. Daisy, Selina, Phoebe, and especially Lilly from Fractured were all partial transformations, but still had their names changed. Lilly’s transformation was also something she didn’t want, and yet she accepted being Lilly and being a woman with a penis. I can see the same thing happening to Dayla, it’s just that SHE has to learn to accept her new life, like Lilly did.

One can appear to be female without being female. Drake is still male. He just looks female.

She’s not a femboy.

Subtitles are great, cause often I’m next to my boyfriend who is not interested (or sleeping).

I don’t always always use them, but I use them probably 90% of the time. I also sometimes have them on even with the audio on.

I’m as annoyed as Drake about the whole name changing BS. Let him be Drake fercryinoutloud. I used to date a girl named Blake.

I really don’t see how Drake’s name getting changed is “BS.” It is a SapphireFoxx tradition that anytime there’s a gender transformation, the name changes with the gender. Male names have always become feminine names around here. That’s part of the fun. That not only do their bodies transform, but their identities and personalities too. And a name is part of that identity.

If Austin becomes Alyssa and Zack becomes Zoey, then it stands to reason that Drake, a name that I’ve only ever heard given to men, would become something feminine, like Dayla.

Drake is gender neutral to me imo.

People around here keep saying that, but I’ve never heard of a woman named Drake. Honestly, the only person I’ve heard in the last decade with Drake as a first name is the rapper.

Besides, we’ve already had one instant in this comic of a gender transformation involving a person with a unisex name and keeping that name. It would be weird to have that happen for two transformations in a row. So it’s not just I think that Drake being a unisex name is dubious at best, but that a name change is good for variety.
