I take it that even Alistair can’t accelerate time, then.
Put a curse in a box, boost the flow of time inside the box by a factor of as much as he can manage, and see what happens…

i no Gavin has the curse but what if their one night of romance, ended bigger then what they be leave. Hint Hint Nudge Nudge Wink Wink

Jeez, these curses are like uranium fuel rods. Gonna need to find a better place to store them.

Alastair hasn’t got to the point of sensing the curse in Gavin considering how Gavin was born with the curse unlike everyone else on Cinder Isle (he was unaffected by the red water because he already has the curse).

This is toxic waste to the extreme. Alistair has his work cut out for him.

Hmm.. I mean, can I get a glass of this red wine? How’s this taste?
If immune, I am a chick magnet. If not, my profile pic would be a sexy bombshell. Whose to say no to either?

Now get back to fixing the rest of the fox figure please. Poor Alistar don’t have anything to his body but the face intact.

Also, is the comic going to be under the 700 page mark?
When is the teaser for the next comic coming out @SapphireFoxx?

Sam has said that Cinder Isle will finish before it reaches 700 pages and that we’ll get the title and a teaser poster for the next comic around mid-August.

Sapphirefoxx: You better reassemble me fully, unless you enjoy wearing the opposite gender’s private part and their romantic desires.

Grumble, grumble, a nuclear waste analogy. By the way composing is the opposite of DEcomposing which is decaying. Yeah, nuclear waste can be made harmless, but you don’t get energy or a weapon from it, so nobody bothers to find out exactly how. Oh yeah, Ruby’s curses are pikers compared to nuclear waste which can have a half life of 10s of thousands of years.

Love it! An arcane toxic waste dump that just accidentally happened to leach into the local ground water supply. Question is, how’d Alistair get into his current (broken) state?

His ex wife sure know how to make those curses.

Yknow, collecting Curses on earth To just WAIT out their dissipation just sound really risky. Why not put em in a place that is FARTHER away from any amount of civilization like deep in Antarctica or something.

Read up on nuclear waste disposal. LOTS of issues with long term disposal, nearly impossible, unless you create a secret society dedicated to keeping the rest of us safe. Sadly, that works for bad purposes, no reason why it couldn’t be harnessed for good ones.

According to how long it took the girls to reach Alistair’s island, it is out in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, VERY far away from any civilization. Alistair probably thought the curses being stored in a well protected vault thousands of miles away from any human would be fine.

In My Apprentice Isabel says that his island is about 200 miles south of Nova Scotia which puts it about 250 miles from Cinder Isle.

Well that’s new information. I was wondering why the curses needed to be stored in a vault in the first place.

So a few hundred years for the curse orbs to break down into liquid, plus a few thousand years for the liquid to fully dissipate. Geez, this is even worse than plastics. Sylvana really is the scum of the earth…

Plastics, oh yeah, hadn’t thought of the toxic scum du jour.

I mean why didn’t the curse work on Gavy/Gaela?

Marty

He already has the curse. My guess is the liquid amplified it and made him more manly

It basically did, and made him sad to angry.

I think this is like pollution left unchecked to the next level.

Also Gavin being called Gaela by Zoey, he feels happy. That kinda reminds me from Foxtrot, when Franklin prefer to called Francine.

so the orbs turn to that red liquid. I wonder if it consumed, the liquid curse will be orbs again inside the person, and Alistair can remove them. this is merely a hypothesis (a bad one). IDK, the original curse was unable to revert those affected back to their original selves, thus their descendants born with the curses. somehow the descendants can be cured of this curse. but I wonder how this red liquid works. I have this feeling Alastair can cure them if the liquid is the process of the curses weakening

Clearly some kind of explosion of which the cause is still unknown

maybe the “thing” that smashed Alistair caused the Curses to appear in Cinder Isle
