Alastair hasn’t got to the point of sensing the curse in Gavin considering how Gavin was born with the curse unlike everyone else on Cinder Isle (he was unaffected by the red water because he already has the curse).

Sam has said that Cinder Isle will finish before it reaches 700 pages and that we’ll get the title and a teaser poster for the next comic around mid-August.

Grumble, grumble, a nuclear waste analogy. By the way composing is the opposite of DEcomposing which is decaying. Yeah, nuclear waste can be made harmless, but you don’t get energy or a weapon from it, so nobody bothers to find out exactly how. Oh yeah, Ruby’s curses are pikers compared to nuclear waste which can have a half life of 10s of thousands of years.
