“Things have come full circle. The story began with three friends beginning a normal day by going to school. Four hundred and one days later, the last thing these two students want is more of their hometown. At long last, Gaela and Zack are able to leave Cinder Isle.”
It’s been a great experience working on Cinder Isle over the last two years, but all good things must come to an end. As someone who grew up in Maine and has lived in New England their whole life, I really connected to this story more than most.
700 pages might be a record that no future SapphireFoxx comic reaches. Despite its length, this story is a goldmine for additional content. We could explore animations covering the characters in the present day, side stories of supporting characters, and non-canon Beyond comics. Regardless of what comes in the future, we’ll take a break from Cinder Isle before returning to it.
This is goodbye for now, but just know that we haven’t seen the last of Gaela, Zack, Shane, and Natalie. 😉

such an amazing series that really was lovely to read
Slowly but surely reading all of the comics and i know I really enjoyed something when I’m a sad that I’ve finished something and it’s safe to say this comic made me feel this, I 100% enjoyed every single minute i spent reading this and I have to say in my opinion cinder isle is the best comic on this website
I just got through reading it. I got teary eyed when Gavin spoke about his feelings about wanting to be a girl. Relating growing up not really knowing or handle the signs. This is the only web site I patronize. Awesome company with talented people.
Thank you
Trishia D.
You know, I had a though, is the line still there on the bridge and if It is how would it be explained.
Nice ending where the finally get to leave.Though I guess they did technically leave at one point but not officially.
Just finished rereading this glorious story and I love even more this time around!
Something I noticed in the final panel I didn’t notice the first time I read the story is Portland Head Lighthouse in the background! Fun fact, I actually went inside that lighthouse when my family visited Maine ten years ago!
I’m just sad there wasn’t any “love” scene between Zack and Gaela, it would be so much more fulfilling, it would be my favorite series of the website, but it’s still definitely in my top 3 though
My favourite comic of this web, congratulations
Same here.
Just finished reading the comic for the second time. Initially, I was not impressed by Cinder Isle, as I thought that it was too drawn out, and lacked substance. Being able to read it in real time as opposed to one comic at a time makes quite a difference. I am now thinking that this is one of the best works on Sapphire Fox.com. Of course, the timing with the Covid-19 pandemic is eerie, but I guess that the ghosts told the writers what to expect! And the ghosts were a surprising aspect of the comic, one which I came to enjoy. What ever happened to Mrs. Sparkles? So, thank you for an epic work.
I admit I wanted to see an epilogue for Sailor Moon
Zoey and Gavin > Zack and Gaela
Agree.
Also, this is unrelated but can I just say how gorgeous you’re profile pic is. Seriously, you’re a beautiful woman.
Hehe thank you! That means so much to me ???
And they lived happily ever after.
2 minor wishes now that theres a new comic about to start
The newer Animations like Wedding bells, Love for a price and Second Honeymoon showing up on the animations page like the rest instead of skipping through the recents list
An updated timeline and possibly a list of whats canon or not along with that.
Just seems like a decent time to update the site overall.
I wish that the episodes for Wedding bells, Love for a Price, Full Service, and Honeymoon would come out faster tbh, but I understand its very hard to make animations.
I’m not sure how you can say that series like Love for A Price and Second Honeymoon are getting “skipped through the recent lists” because we’re getting another Second Honeymoon in November, and we just got a Love for A Price last month. Also, Second Honeymoon only has two episodes left and Sam has said that episode 5 (the finale) will be out in December.
For the animations, if you look at the “Animation Status” page, you’ll see what the deal is with Wedding Bells and Love for a Price. A new batch of episodes of Wedding Bells only recently moved from “Planning” (aka the script writing phase) into the “Creating Artwork” phase (where backgrounds, props and character’s outfits are created). I’m sure we’ll get a new episode of Wedding Bells soon, but only once it’s ready.
As for Love for a Price, Sam said after the last episode that we won’t get episode 6 until early 2021, probably February or March. The next episode hasn’t even been written yet. So it’s gonna be at least another five to six months before Love for a Price returns. And like I already said, Second Honeymoon is gonna be done by December.
None of these animations are getting “skipped.” It’s just that, since only three animations come out per month, and there are over six series going on right now plus one-offs, there are going to be several series that don’t get new episodes every month. That’s just the way things are around here.
And as I’ve told you multiple times already – Sam has said which series are canon and which ones aren’t. He doesn’t need to do that again.
I know their not getting skipped i meant when you go to the animations page they don’t have their own story block like the older animations. Like how theirs a link block / cover picture to click on to go to all the episodes of Ashes to Ashes or One shots. But there’s still no block for the newer ones you have to scroll down through the recent animations section and find them one by one i stead of having them all in one link above. And when i say timeline i meant like what we had below the first page of godmother. That shows when the stories of each comic or animation takes place in the SF timeline not when things are getting released. Sorry about the confusion
I have just finished re-reading all of the comics and I had to read 150 pages today just to be done re-reading all of the comics before FAF comes out tomorrow. (Also shocked this page didn’t have an end credit scene like all of the other comics (besides Shifting Roommates))
My initial impression of Cinder Isle was very positive. My final impression is kinda so-so.
Needed more/better foreshadowing.
I get the impression that after Maker’s Game where some people (not me) correctly guessed Cynthiel’s and Grey Mask’s identity that Sam decided to really hide what was coming next in comics.
But hiding everything until the reveal just makes it hard to get emotionally engaged. Suddenly ghosts. Suddenly Zoey wants to be a guy again. Suddenly Patricia wants to stay a girl.
It’s okay to drop a few more hints. Maybe some people will figure out the twist in advance, but people who don’t can look back at previous pages and go “ohh, I missed that hint”. It’s better worldbuilding.
IMO, The Gavin is trans reveal foreshadowing could’ve been improved as well. Those sudden reveals made it look like just a bunch of Ass Pull tropes even it was planned from the start. Plus I felt like there was emotional beats that were missed in the story (Gaela as Gavin not revealing to Wanda that she was trans).
The Natalie thing is the thing that got me confused, and yes, the Galea reveal was poorly done.
How did you not see the massive flashing signs screaming “GAVIN IS TRANS”? They were blatantly obvious to me even before it was confirmed that he was immune to the virus, which utterly sealed the deal *weeks* before the actual reveal.
If you ask me, there was a LOT of foreshadowing when it came to stuff like Gavin being trans and Zoey wanting to go back to being a man. All of it came dozens, if not hundreds, of pages before it was outright said to us. The clues that Gavin is trans was practically there from the start, and Zoey constantly fighting her feminine side shows that she was never very comfortable being a woman.
I won’t deny that the Patricia twist came out of no where, but Sam said that there was just no time to develop anything for Patricia. in the end, she was a minor supporting character so I don’t mind that the twist came out of no where. It was a pleasant surprise.
Zoey yes, Galea, I need a raincheck on that one. lol
Regardless of whether you saw the foreshadowing for Gavin being trans or not, it was still there. It was always there. Just because you didn’t find it doesn’t mean it’s not there.
You’re speaking in riddles like a politician that will say a phrase like unknown knowns. What concrete clues that Gavin was trans from the start?
Well the big clue from the beginning was Gavin’s inability to talk to any women. The fact that it happens with all the women he meets – teachers, classmates, friends – shows that Gavin was intimated by women. And as we learned throughout the story, it was because those women had what Gavin always wanted.
Regardless of whether or not you think that’s a clue, it is a clue that something is up with Gavin that separates him from the other men in the story. Why else would Gavin stammer around every woman if it didn’t mean something?
Like I said, there’s a lot of clues throughout the comic that Gavin was trans. A lot of them are in the early pages. I don’t remember exactly where every clue is, and I don’t feel like going through the entire comic just to prove that they are there.
Now that we all have the knowledge of Gavin being trans, maybe now it’s good time to go back and reread the comic and look for those clues yourself?
Also how is saying “Just because you didn’t find it doesn’t mean it’s not there” a riddle? That’s just a nice way of saying that you weren’t looking hard enough. It’s there, you just didn’t see it. Not everything is obvious or spelled out.
Gavin didn’t stammer around every woman he came in contact with He didn’t stammer around Daphne, Heather, Nurse Belfast and I don’t believe stammered around Elaine either. His stuttering was cured when started kissing Zoey and how did that correlate to him being trans?
Regardless of whether or not he stammered around every woman, the intention was still there – Gavin can’t talk to women. Even if it was cured, it was still a thing and the big clue to Gavin being trans. If you look at some of the comments on those early pages of Cinder Isle, you’ll see that a lot of transgender people commented saying that they felt the same way around women as Gavin. It’s why nearly every transgender person guessed that Gavin was trans long before it was ever told to us – because they were Gavin.
And like I said early on in my last comment, Gavin can’t talk to women because he’s intimidated by them because he desires what they have. That’s how that correlates to him being trans. He wants a woman’s body, so he’s jealous and frightened by those who do have it like Zoey and every woman he comes across, so much so that he can’t talk to them.
Then again, you did admit earlier that you didn’t get see the clues that Cynthel was Chris from the beginning, which I think most people would say was the most obvious plot twist in SF history. So I shouldn’t be surprised that these subtle hints go over your head too.
I guess you’re talking about someone else because except of a few Beyond pages, I haven’t read the Maker’s Game.
Using your logic since transgenders stuttered around women, then kissing women will cure them of it too. Like I said before, Gavin didn’t stuttered around every woman he met. What you’re doing is applying what we know now about the story and putting it in the past situations. The old “the clues were so in front of your face if it was a wild animal it would have bitten you” mentality. I’m going to chalk this up as a we simply agree to disagree.
Oh, I confused you with the user who originally started this comment conversation. My bad.
I never said that all transgenders stutter around women. Gavin does, but that doesn’t mean all of them do. Transgenders can be intimidated by those of the gender they identify as, and one way that intimidation can manifest itself is through the inability to speak to them. Again, why would Sam give Gavin a personality quirk like not being able to talk to women if it didn’t mean something? That’s your clue. Like leaving a smoking gun next to a dead body with a bullet hole in it – that has to mean something.
Also, that makeout session with Zoey didn’t cure Gavin’s transgenderism. That got cured when Alistair turned him into Gaela and removed her curse. All that makeout session did was give Gavin a confidence boost and make him see things a little differently. Although, that makeout session was another clue that Gavin was trans – he never once got an erection after making out with Zoey for an hour. That makeout session meant nothing to him sexually, otherwise he would gotten aroused. The fact that it never went any further than kissing and Gavin only ever saw it as a learning experience, shows that he isn’t exactly turned on by women. This is made even clearer when Zoey and Gavin have sex for the first time, and he only goes along with it to make Zoey happy. If it were up to him, they would have never made love while he was a man, because he’s not sexually attracted to Zoey. He admires her, especially her beauty, and he loves her, but love, admiration and attraction are not the same things. Gavin learned that while they were making out and that was a big moment where we learned more about Gavin being trans.
IMO, the clues that Gavin was trans were right in front of our faces. But if you weren’t looking for them, you might have missed them. What other way is there to approach this besides that angle?
I actually think there was too much foreshadowing.
Never imagined that this comic would be two years long, I was asking back at page 350 how many were left.
350
Did I miss what Chase chose?
I dont think it was outright said but im pretty sure he went back to being a man
Back when Chase and Clarissa voted, they both said that they wanted to go back to the way they were before the virus. So Chase certainly went back to being a man, and Clarissa went back to her normal female body.
good bye Gaela , shane , zack and nate hope to see you guys in the future.
it would have been nice to have known what other town folks like the mayor and the school’s principal chose.
We do know what they chose. Back when Sandra, Natalie and Zack were going through the votes, we were told what every supporting character chose, including the mayor and the principal. The mayor decided to stay a woman, and the principal went back to being a man.
Cinder Isle is finished… wow, it’s really over, huh?
As usual, I’m writing a long review after every story, possibly my longest ever since my 1-year review of Sapphirefoxx at the home page. For this time though, I would also like to suggest listening to this song while reading my comment: Never More. I know I referenced a bunch of songs the past few days as well, but this is the only one that I planned from the start.
If you’re not interested in reading all of this, the last paragraphs should suffice. Ok, I hope you can bear with me on this. Here we go.
—
I subscribed to Sapphirefoxx since July 2019, so Cinder Isle was the first comic that I get to read one page per day. I recall feeling so sad after I realized that I have reached the last page currently made back then, which was during the middle of Nathan’s transformation to Natalie. However, the next scenes involving the girls at the ski slopes and the first Gavin-Zoey kiss really convinced me that I’m going to enjoy reading this one page per day, as I’m more likely to savor every moment better in this format, as opposed to speed-reading that I did in the previous comics, especially with my case with reading Maker’s Game in about 8 hours in a single day.
One of the things I especially liked about this comic is the premise of the story. A small quiet town with nothing too exciting going on, suddenly hit with a mysterious and strange turn of events that one could consider.. bizarre. The focus of the story is a group of teenagers, with their own stories and their own share of problems, and by coincidence or fate, they uncover the secret behind the mysteries of the events in their city, all while resolving their own personal issues on the way.
I know we love making references to popular things during the course of this comic, but I would like to make two obscure ones. This heavily reminds me of two of my favorite stories: Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure – Diamond is Unbreakable, an anime, which would explain some references in my comments from before; and Persona 4, a video game, which would explain the reason why I chose this song. It’s the game’s end credits song, and I feel it also fits too well with this comic’s ending as well.
Now, the next thing that I really liked are the characters, especially the main gang. I liked that most of them have their own stories and sub-plots, though I also think it’s also one of the comic’s big flaws. It’s the longest comic here in this site (more than double the length as Godmother), yet there are still underexplored characters that have potential for interesting stories. Though, I appreciate that the option for one-shot animations featuring these characters is on the table. For those that do have their stories explored, they are amazing. I like that different characters show different ways of dealing with this kind of epidemic – from those that have their relationships formed, damaged, or improved, as well as exploring possible hidden feelings that they may not be aware that they’re suppressing.
My favorite side character is Elaine, Zack’s mom, because I love how she has enough common sense on what to do during a virus outbreak (being a nurse and all), how she was very supportive of Zoey adjusting to womanhood, and also with how she’s still willing to try to be an understanding wife to Randy when he turned to Rachele. Lastly, Elaine’s the only character shown to infect herself by choice – what a boss.
—
Next, the main characters. I’ll start first with Shane/Sandra. How exactly can I dislike someone like him? Out of all the main characters, he’s the most selfless person ever. Imagine all the bullying he got when growing up, just for being fat and having to wear glasses. I know that I know the feeling, because I wear glasses too, and was severely bullied growing up as well. He manages all of that when he’s the one getting teased on, but as soon as Shane witness his friend Zoey getting picked on by some asshole classmates that just heard some baseless rumors about her deliberately infecting everyone in town, he just has to come in and defend her, even at the risk of losing in a physical fight. There’s also the case of the beating he got by Frank at the gym because he wanted to defend Natalie from their constant insulting, and the most important one: risking getting infected so that the ocean, and possibly millions of people, would not get contaminated and infected. I admire this guy, for real.
Second, it’s Nathan/Natalie. The one aspiring journalist from outside Cinder Isle. The one pattern that I also see from this comic and the references I made is that the character from outside town is the one that is going to help them most in solving the mysteries from inside the city (like Jotaro in Jojo, and the protagonist in Persona 4). When it comes to investigating clues regarding the virus and the ghosts, I consider her to be the leader of the team, since she’s the one who connected most of the dots based on her investigations, despite not being here when the lockdown started. Still, it must’ve been hard for her to first settle in this new neighborhood, with her father in house arrest, and no one to talk to, at least until the trio arrived. I also love how she instantly connected to Shane, because by that point, Shane had already begun his goal to lose weight, and from that common interest, it evolved into a deep friendship until they became a couple, and I enjoy their chemistry when they’re together. It’s just a shame that their only onscreen funtime in bed together was a short flashback. Hopefully the Beyond comics fix that.
Third, it’s Zack/Zoey. Once my favorite girl, and now an unknown legend. What can I say? I absolutely adored his story as the very first character to transform, and one of the longest to adjust to his current predicament back then. I love seeing his moments when he just in denial of everything that happened, until it hit to him back then the realization that why he’s resisting this so much if he’s going to stay like that for the rest of his life. Of course, with help from Gavin then, Zack/Zoey learned the perks of being a woman and just went on with it. It’s just that Zack has been Zoey for so long, that when opportunity arises for Zack to change back, I was very conflicted. In the end though, I respect his decision, and what’s important is his relationship with Gaela.
Lastly, it’s Gavin/Gaela. I’m just gonna say it outright: best girl in all of Sapphirefoxx, in my opinion. So, so much, that I’m flabbergasted that we did not get a Gaela and Zack scene in bed. Again, good thing there’s Beyond, but still… Anyway, what’s most amazing about Gaela for me is that she managed to find out herself what was bugging her for the longest time. I’m not sure about this, but I think the 90’s were harder times for coming out of someone’s shell, but I’m very glad she did, although it took an outbreak like this to make her realize. The irony of the one boy who so wanted to be a girl but cannot, in a city full of hot girls, was just so poetic. I’m truly glad that Alistair freed Gaela from her curse. Also, her relationship with Zack is so damn adorable as well, even when they were still Gavin and Zoey. I also admire her smarts as well, especially since that allowed her to fix Alistair, and that allowed everyone to go back to their normal lives. Beauty and brains, indeed.
I can’t ask for a better set of main characters for this story than the four of them. I’m really going to miss them, but I’m glad this is not the last time we see them.
—
Last of the reasons why I liked this story is the big twist on the source of the virus, and the events behind it. May jaw literally dropped when we saw Alistair’s island for the first time in this story. Since it was so late in the story, I was not expecting a connection that direct to the current Sapphirefoxx universe at all. It also gave us more insights about the virus itself – that it was a decomposed version of Sylvana’s curse.
What I do appreciate more, however, is Alistair himself. We always ask what’s Alistair doing here, or why he’s broken into pieces, but never how is Alistair doing. Poor guy had to resort to blowing himself up because he could not take it anymore after so much years of being alone and hopeless. I really appreciate putting that characterization in him, because we now realize what made him trust Isabelle in the first place after being so distant with his family for so long. It was because the gang showed him that he shouldn’t have to live his life alone anymore, and that he now has someone to lean on in case something like this happens again to him.
If you’re still listening to the song, one of the (translated) lyrics was:
“I won’t forget those days that I spent with everyone precious to me,
Never more, will I be alone even in the darkness”
Still makes me cry to this day, and it just fits perfectly…
—
As a finale, if I were to name the theme of Cinder Isle, it would be hope. Hope that the outbreak would finally be over; hope that whatever is lost can be regained back in some other form; hope that we’re not alone in this world and that we’ll always have friends to support us; hope that everything will be alright again.
Thank you for reading my review. I should also thank you, Sam and SF crew, for making this amazing story that makes these midnight page releases worth it (yes, every page releases at midnight in my time zone). Lastly, thank you, SF community, for the wonderful discussions we had in the comments section and messages. This last year or so has been fun for me. See you in the next comic. Peace out!
— JD
That was a great review!
I think my favorite character is Natalie because if she hadn’t come to Cinder Isle, everyone is lost. Yes, she should be a team leader due it’s all her idea to start the investigation in the 1st place to search the unknown truth with her newfound friends despite the dangers.
Also I like this journalist’s brains & beauty as well as being thoughtful to help Shane’s gym workout and be with Sandra for a short time as a lesbian couple. In conclusion, I’m glad that Nat officially love Shane to appreciate of who he is.
amazing review. I really enjoyed this comic ALOT. its awesome this was your first comic. your review is sooooooo much better than Blackwater Park’s (but it’s their opinion so I really shouldn’t judge them, I’m being a jerk). I also like towards the end it makes me think of fracture in terms of those who are ok in the wrong gender. I can’t pick a favorite XD I love all 4 protagonists, especially “Fourth ranger” Natalie. I agree about Elaine, she was an amazing supporting character. she, Dutch, and Wanda are my favorite adult characters in the comic and averted the “adults are useless” trope in terms of Dutch and Elaine Imo.
I almost forgot, Elaine is a best supporter and that includes her husband / wife, Randy / Rachele as well.
My favorite moments is the father accepted Zoey as a new daughter in the family, take a 1st Halloween picture while the couple dressed as princess & prince, prevent the virus outbreak at the ski resort, family shopping, and embarrassing concerns before Zoey & Gavin go their first date together.
Yes, Zack’s parents are amazing supportive characters.
I just remember something, Gaela skip school for a day off with Zack is almost reminds me of Ai Ebihara from Persona 4 due to not attending class with the protagonist and they’re both attractive with their beauty.
That was a ride..
Seeing the bridge again, how they fix the guy who got his head blown off by one over enthused sniper?
Nothing you can do about him, cant bring the dead back to life. Perhaps now, he died of natural causes?
It’s OVERRR!!!
Holy shit!
I need some Tylenol ><
If the characters in Cinder Isle were to appear in the present day, I would totally believe that the main group will appear in Awakening since I believe Alastair will do the ritual there instead of his island with Sylvana and her growing army being out and about. This can set things up for episode 13 of Awakening where Sylvana will believe she’s killed Alastair and everyone important to him only to reveal that Alastair and his allies are safe elsewhere.
Alistair: I appreciate this reunion will be a short moment but, Sylvana is coming and I need everyone’s help. Natalie, can you please gather your friends to prepare a ritual to stand against her.
Natalie: Of course we’ll help you, Alistair. After all, we did owe you a huge favor when you returned Cinder Isle to normal from years ago.
The journey’s end is bittersweet, but the prospect of new adventures on the horizon brings with it new possibilities and new discoveries of the imagination. Thank you Sapphirefoxx for telling this tale.
Im sad its ending, and as much as i would have liked more to the ending i understand that this comic went on for a really long time. I love the story, the characters and the open ended ending. Not to mention the possibilities of further content later on. I’ll probably be waiting a while to let the pages of the new comic build up in pages before i get into that one. I look forward to the future and leave the rest of the unanswered to the imagination, for now at least.
If any of the supporting characters should have a side story told in an animation series/mini-series, it should be Chase as he (in my opinion) seemed to be the best candidate. It should be after the divorce between Clarissa and Wanda but before the mass memory alter. I think it should focus on Chase trying to get his mom to see the error of her ways and about how much their family is now broken because she couldn’t adapt or try to the end the relationship more peacefully (which would explain Clarissa being more peaceful with Wanda at the festival). It should also Chase’s relationship with Daphne throughout this quarantine.
I thought Chase was a great character. He had the potential to be my favorite in the comic. Sadly he just faded into the background. Which was sad, I really admired him. He was a great brother to Gaela and was one of the most likable characters in the comic.
I thought he was an annoying asshole, and his family came off as a collection of racist stereotypes imo tbh.
Chase: Stop it, Mom! Your harsh words are hurting everyone I care about and right now I’m ashamed to being your son!
Wow, that was quite an adventure.
So Here’s my review. This is quite frankly my least favorite SapphireFoxx comic. It starts out with an intriguing and tense premise. A Pandemic that results in genderbending and body amplification, now THATS interesting. But as the comic went on my excitement started to drop.
The main characters were pretty good but my GOD are the supporting characters so uninteresting. The fact that we spent a few pages for a sex scene between Elaine and Randy that didn’t advance the plot at all was a problem. In fact a lot of this comic has scenes the drag on for too long. The amount of time given for the sex and kissing scenes is unbearable. Oh, and the abundance of melodrama, My fucking God the melodrama!
And then we get to Zack/Zoey. So as you know, Zoey is patient zero. He is the first one to be infected and a large amount of the comic is spent on Zoey’s journey through womanhood. We spent a large amount of time and pages on her shopping, makeup, orientation and preferences. This all seems to be leading up to a well written character arc. How not only is her life better but she is happier being a woman. Only for it to be thrown completely out the window when it’s revealed that Zack still wants to be a guy.
It destroys everything leading up to his character arc and makes most of the “development” we’ve been reading about utterly pointless.
I now accept Gaela’s twist reveal. Even if the hints to her being trans were absurd. But by God, Why did we spend pages upon pages of Zack’s development if it was just going to be thrown away?
And of course my biggest complaint.
Why on Earth is this 700 PAGES LONG? There was absolutely no need to stretch this comic out THIS long. This is not a gag a day webcomic. This is not a slice of Life comic. This is a STORY-based comic that can easily be resolved in half the amount of pages you’re team could have made.
Overall it’s not a good comic. But that’s alright. I hope you learn from your mistakes and improve over time.
I hope, Favors and Followers will be great. Because I will not read it until it is finished.
Good Luck Sam and Co
I agree with some of things you said, but I still think that the comic was pretty good. It kept me hooked. The first one since Makers Game.
I loved Maker’s Game. That comic was epic! Russel is an awesome villain, even better than Sylvanna to be honest. Nick was my favorite character.
You know when you first announce this comic I thought it was going to be horrible… but now I am truly sad that its ending ?
Cinder Isle is like a great big novel with the unique concept – I appreciate the 90s setting, references, realistic drama, & this fictional town to life.
My favorite character is Zoey because I enjoyed she’s acting like a tsundere until finally she admit that being a girl is fun thanks to the support. Also I like Natalie as well due to her reporter’s smarts to solve the mystery with her friends. In the end, they’ve found true happiness including fall in love.
It’s a amazing ride and I can’t wait to see these 4 in the future!
*sniff* Good bye Cinder Isle. You will be missed.
Its been a wild ride, loved CI!
I can’t believe it’s over. I really enjoyed this comic. It was very cool prequel of the sapphirefoxx universe. I like the call-forwards of other events/comics/animations. 700 pages, goddamn what a record. I loved these characters so much and I’m glad They have a happy ending. This comic made me think of the situation we live in now but despite that I still enjoy life. Got give credit to everyone who created this wonderful comic. I would like to see canon related animations but if you can’t do it, it’s alright
