An Interesting question. While Courtney is obviously a suitable feminine name it uncommon these days, in my experience, for daughters to share their Mother’s name.

So Not wanting to arouse further suspicion, Courtney would most likely assume a new temporary name.

The barrel with Shane was leaking, a hole in the side and he took the spray from the hole right in the face as he was trying to stop it.

I can agree that I see the “hey come look” comment while he’s holding the barrel will potentially cause him to drop and spill it, there by infecting himself. Then, when it comes to light how he transformed…..
