How did the authorities even know there was a virus outbreak in the first place. I just read the story back and they said the closest payphone was down the slope and they obv don’t have cell phones because story is set in 1997 . in the last few pages, all characters were present meaning none left to go call the authorities,

How come that in pretty much all transformations we’ve seen when the male turns into the female they normally get hair below the shoulder. How come bruces/brenda hasn’t done the same.
