I would like to add something to Karl’s infodump about encryption.
So, Karl mentioned a password as a part of an algorithm to crack the encrypted files from Luke’s computer. In cryptography, that algorithm is actually called, yep, a “cypher” (or “cipher”, as I prefer to spell it). That might be the hacker’s inspiration for that name.
In short, Karl would use a cypher to reveal the Cypher. *insert Thanos meme here*

Much respect for Karl here. Yes he’s a ladies man, but he’s very respectful, helpful, and all around just a great guy it seems. Definitely one of the best all around I think we’ve seen in a very long time. I know a lot keeps going around that some on here still thinks he’s Cypher. While we still don’t know yet, Karl has really been growing on since the start of this comic.
