So the Plague Doctor is an emerald, the Bride is a silver and the Queen is a bronze, interesting.

Cinder Isle resident: Counselor Nappa, what do you think?

Ghost Nappa: Let me tell you what you need to do. You need to sit her down. You look the Queen dead in the eye and you say, don’t invade the island.

Resident: And you think that’ll work.

Nappa: She’d have to be awfully evil if it didn’t. I’m not gonna lie, I like the cut of her jib.

Holy-fucking-shit! A weird thought just crossed my mind. I suggest taking this lightly, because this might be my wildest (and longest) speculation ever. (Also, minor spoilers for Awakening) This phenomenon that is happening in Cinder Isle is sorcerer-related (as in, the Sapphirefoxx magic that we already know). The reason I think this, is because the powers of all the ghosts are related to the currently existing Nine Bloodlines. Also notice their speech balloon colors. I’ll explain in detail. (If you’re still reading, details about the Nine Bloodlines’s specialty powers are explained in detail in the “Bonus Artwork” section on the… Read more »

I’d be surprised if the Sylvana theory turns out to be the whole story, though. Seems a bit too…obvious? A red plague that turns all mortals into busty women. Not that Sylvana hasn’t shown up as a surprise twist in other places, but when it has been used in the past it’s been a bit more subtle than that (coloured contact lenses to hide the red eyes, etc). I feel like Sylvana is a red herring this… Read more »

Correct if I’m wrong
The doctor can heal
The bride can cast illusions
The harlequin can use body manipulation
The actress can control clothing
The mistress can possess
The widow has those claws

Remember Shane’s bicycle being turned into a unicycle at his first encounter with Harlequin? One other point: J.D. didn’t mention this. All the Ghosts are female. All will be revealed fairly soon, seems to me.
